Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition is an act or instance of placing close together or side by side, especially for comparison or contrast.

Here´s my example of a picture that presents contrast.

Ethics and False Light

Ethics in Photojournalism

This picture is considered to be controversial when it comes to ethics in photojournalism because it raises the questioning from people asking why or how someone instead of helping the person or whatever/whoever is in the picture, the photographer decides to take a picture?
The thing is if the photographer wasn't there, the situation would be the same, but the situation/the suffering would never be seen by other people that don't know that that's the reality somewhere.

False light
Publication of false and/or highly offensive information about a person

Sensationalism: Present bias, manipulation of the truth. A picture or article in which the photographer or writer doesn't do back up research on what they're reporting to understand what is really happening.

Rule of thirds
The basic principle behind the rule of thirds is to imagine breaking an image down into thirds (both horizontally and vertically) so that you have 9 parts.
The theory is that if you place points of interest in the intersections or along the lines that your photo becomes more balanced and will enable a viewer of the image to interact with it more naturally.

Composition:
Compose to draw the viewer's eye.
Candid
Photograph was taken without the person knowing, it doesn't create a posed appearance.

5 Yes and 5 No´s

This was the sequence of responses I had when I asked people if I could take pictures of them:

Yes, Yes, No, No, No, Yes, No, Yes, No, No, Yes.

The first 3 No´s happened because people said they were late for classes. I was in front of the cafe after lunch waiting for people to come out.

The next 2 No´s came because people said it was weird and the last one simply because this girls doesn´t like to get her picture taken.

The ones who agreed with the pictures were suspecting a little bit but they were fine with it.

Here are the 5 people who allowed me to take their pictures:
